Slept in until 2pm and got a call from Jo's parents saying their van had been burned. Picked them up at New Park mall, went to the towing service, took a couple of pics, went to Firestone where the van just had an oil change, and finally had a very late lunch at Rose Garden. Slept the rest of the evening and went into work at 10pm.
Went to Randy and Roselle's house in Pittsburg for lunch and had the traditional Thanksgiving lunch. Went to Jo's Ma and Pa's house and had Thanksgiving dinner with immediate family. John, Verna, and Reese were still in LA. Here at work right now. Double time, baby!
Friday, Jo and I watched Elf at Union City and had dinner at Tony Roma's. Saturday, Jo and I just chilled at home with the dogs. In the afternoon, Alvin and I went to LaVal's in Berkeley to watch the Big Game. Cal won!!! I think the score was 24-10. They were down 10-0 at the end of the first half. Sorta worried me there for a second. Went to work on Friday and Saturday night; no incidents. Spent the whole day with family on Sunday; had Dim Sum with Jo's family for Anthony's birthday, went to All Saints for mass with my family, had a late lunch at home with my family at my old home in Hayward. Also took Christmas photos for the yearly mailing. Hung out w/ our goddaughter, Reesy. She was scared of my thuggish looks. HARD (Hayward Area Rec District) put up a skate park in front of my old house. I hope there are no sk8ter punks that mess with my parents, but at least there's an acrylic basketball court there too!!
Yesterday, Jo and I went to a doctor's appointment in Los Gatos. We bought some food at Whole Foods, and I bought my Kris Kringle his gift at Performance. Still gotta get my other Kris Kringle a gift. Oh, and my wife. And my pups. Then we went to Jon and Lorraine's to visit Colin. We had dinner and played Scene it.
I went to the dog park with Gilbey, Belle, and Jingo. Jingo was a little hesitant and scared at first, but after a few corrections, he was running around like a little puppy. They got their paws nice and muddy, though, so it's time to once again clean the Rodeo. Went to Seneca (my job) to update my TB test and see Cicely, the staffing coordinator, to take some days off in December. I have three christmas parties to go to, and a garage sale to organize. Apploed for a couple of jobs on the intenet. It's pretty easy to apply to jobs now. I should know if I get an interview in late November or early December.
Yesterday, slept in until 4:30pm. Too bad, too, cuz we missed Timothy's baptism and even missed going to church. I was really tired from work, because I spent 3 hours cleaning the quiet room....smearer. Lots of it, too. At night, Ron, Jo, and I watched the AMA awards and CSI. I put together the new platform bed, and it looks beautiful!
Yesterday, Joanne's cousins/brothers came over to plan the cousins Christmas party this year. We also had pre-production planning for the series of Lim commercials and spoofs to be shot that day. Jon brought Colin, Ray, and a curry chicken salad. Lorraine was in a car accident the night before; luckily she's doing fine. Liz came, albeit 2 hours late, and Noel and Arlene brought deviled eggs and a custard pie from Jo's ma. I made honey walnut prawns and a beef tenderloin salad. Brady played with the pups, while Colin played Superman all day.
