Mom and Dad came over last night. Jo, Ron and I were hanging out. They gave us presents from Italy. Jo got an alligator Gucci bag, and I got an Armani tie. They also got us religious artifacts blessed by the Pope. I'm glad they all had a good time. Our goal is to go to Italy, probably on our tenth anniversary. Jo wants to go bad. Me, I could just go to the Olive Garden. Mom even went on the balcony where Juliet proclaimed her love for Romeo, but instead of "Romeo, Romeo wherefore art thou, Romeo?" she probably said, "Dad....pssst. Oi! Dad! Saan ung video camera? Ano ba! Bilesan mo!"
Got an oil change for the Camry, dude tried to tell me I needed transmission service....suck my dick. I just got it serviced 30,000 miles ago. Gonna get tires for the Camry next week. Also picked up sleep monitoring device from Cupertino. The Sleep Care Specialist was this wannabe Guess model decked out in Kenneth Cole and wreaking of Drakkar, who looked like that asshole Martin, and spoke so unintelligibly, that I had to bust a Lil' Jon and say "what?" every so often. New line of work might be good for you, something that doesn't require speaking. Hooked it up to me last night, and slept like a baby.
On tap today: Gilbey's vet appointment, return sleep stuff to unintelligible Martin, drop off turbo tax with Mikey at Cisco, chill st home, before going to Hillsdale and returning/exchanging Express shirt, and going to San Bruno for the Zouves clinic seminar.
Jacked off into a cup this morning and dropped off the sample at PAMF. Good times. Took some stuff to donate at St. Vincent De Paul, recycled cardboard at Tri-Ced, and went to church at St. Edwards. Missed church on Sunday, mostly because dinner took longer than expected to prepare, and I was tired as fuck. Set up appointment for sleep study. Gotta go to Cupertino tomorrow to pick up and learn to use equipment. Return on Wednesday. Set up PSI contract for 3 years, $24 bucks a month, 2 keys with panic alarms and auto disarm/arm, 3 months free credit, and lifetime warranty. Now I hope the technician can access our control panel. Otherwise I got to cut the closet organizer with a jigsaw. No structural compromise, just aesthetic beauty. Daniel, the account exec, was cool. He graduated from Logan in '00 and had Lockwood and Dino as his Science Teachers, two of my buddies. He's now in Vegas, like half the population of the Bay Area in the 90's. Dropped off Garage sale signs at Village Realtors; garage sale was a huge success. I got rid of a bunch of crap, and we netted about 180 bucks.

Went to Saratoga to see Jo's NP. She prescribed her with some stuff. Also went to Valley Fair, but forgot to bring my shirt from Express to return. Valley Fair is huge! And there are a bunch of stores. The rain was a welcome change in weather, but I can't complain about the spring-like weather we've been having. Garage sale on Saturday is back on since it will be sunny. Posted garage sale on my friendster account, Jo's forum, Jenn's forum, and craigslist x2. I don't think I'll get much if I posted on the newspaper. I also reserved a sign from the Village Realtors that I'll put up on Saturday morn.
On tap: drink more beer, finish Jo's closet, put clothes in closet, and set up for garage sale. Do taxes next week and give to Mikey mid-week. Pick up both sets of parents from airport. Sleep study, interview w/ SFPR, and bulky waste pick ups. Start irrigation ditch and landscape grading; also water seal fence.
Went with Jo to a massage therapist that specializes in abdominal healing. It was in Berkeley, so we got some Ehiopian food, and went to my favorite cafe to sip down a moch bianca. Yum. Dropped by Hawaiian Walk-In to get some lemon chicken for Jo; she wasn't that enamored with the Ethiopian food (neither was I). Went home and played with the dogs. Gonna put up the rest of the closet organizer (Noel helped me move the rest of the pieces the other day). Cancelled the garage sale (again) because of rain. Gonna meet up with Ken and Jen at Starbucks to chill.
Later tonight: Jog with Gilbey, play with Jingo and Belle, finish closet organizer and take down inventory for stuff to return and buy at IKEA.
Went to the Warriors game tonight. Norm and Greg hooked it up with a suite! They were playing T-Mac and the Magic, and they actually won. Scored more than 100 points so we get free chili dogs. Cleaned up around the house....semi-organized the garage (actually Jo did pretty much all of the work), and the upstairs. I'm gonna start on Jo's closet organizer. It was giving me troubles because the doorway has a short clearance, and the sliding door only opens the doorway halfway.
Last night, we went to Noel, Arlene, and Brady's to show off Jingo. It went really well. Jingo was an awesome dog. He played fetch the ball all night, and was very affectionate.
I forgot to write this the other day....dropped off both sets of parents; they're off to Italy for a while, so I'll be checking up on their places and watering plants. Mom forgot her glasses, so I had to UPS it to her. It cost 64 bucks.....jeez. One of these days, I'm gonna help out Ma and Pa by going into their house and cleaning up all of their crap. First, I gotta clean up my crap. I bet it will make them a lot happier. Definitely next time they go on an extended vacation
On tap: LA, Universal Studios, Late Late Show, and Best Damn tickets with Jo and Ron (Alvin and Kat can't go). Finish walk-in closet organizer. Organize all paperwork. Garage Sale next weekend (3/27-28). Start on backyard grading, irrigation, and drainage. Oil changes and maintenance for both cars. Annual Vet appointments for Gilbey and Belle. Go trail riding.
I've been trying to organize and straighten up around the house. I've been inspired by shows, magazines, and pictures of incredibly clean and minimalist homes. I've also been inspired by shows like Mission: Organization, Clean House, and Mix it Up. Here's what I have in mind:
Organize Garage - storage, athletic equipment, garden tools, hardware and tools, cleaning supplies
Make Garage into a nice living space - Workout room, couch, home office, magazine and book bookcase, doggy haven
Update Curb Appeal - add flagstone to flank driveway, and curved walkway from sidewalk, add more solar lights, add wisteria or bougainvillea, add screen security door, waterproof fence, seal concrete, and add fountain
Backyard landscaping - add dog kennel, dog run x 2, modern concrete steps; secure gate from dogs and use space as garbage/recycling/green container caddy (install two way lockable gate latch), build red concrete wall w/ fire pit and seating area, set up rock garden, build and install barn door w/ galvanized roofing front, install flagstone landing, install deck and modern arbor, install contemporary light, put up bougainvillea, cherry blossom tree, japanese maple, bamboo grove to drown out neighbor's ugly ass light fixture, add moss, natural stepping stones, pine needle mulch, outdoor sink and hand-held shower (cover w/ bamboo), two wire gates, and re-arrange gravel (may need to get new gravel for rock garden; get blue-crushed gravel instead of pea gravel)
Living Room and Dining Room - paint light brown, paint bathroom grey and add accents (bamboo, leaf frames), paint room divider to make look like concrete, paint folding doors black, attach together, and place in DR to hide vacuums, make rollable seating storage, upholster, and face with masonite (add file folder to one), create frame around leaning mirror (black), look for nice catch-all w/ concealed storage to put under main artwork (probably chocolate)
Kitchen - install dining table to hang from ceiling (conceal wire system), paint walls red, including backsplash, install under cabinet lighting, re-organize food, freezer, cabinets, and pantry, add nice baskets to top of cabinets, and add herb container for middle of the island.
Cleaning plan - clean sectional, green couch in garage, carpets in the entire house, especially stairs.
Upstairs hallway - paint laundry center red, install black cabinets and place attractive towels, etc. within, eventually buy red pax closet for hallway (make versatile for clothes storage and computer hutch), re-arrange and organize all closets in hallway, add solar tube light in hallway eventually.
Small Guestroom - paint furniture dark grey (w/ black tops), and add modern hardware, re-arrange closet organization, and move bed in middle, put six-drawer dresser where bed was, replace light with track system, add paper blinds from madter bedroom. Make bed modern with plywood underlay and maybe a headboard
Guest Bathroom - paint teal blue with chocolate brown accents (sink conceal), add modern light, add frosted veneer to sides of mirror, retain color motif in bathroom.
Large Guestroom (baby room) - maintain old world japanese motif, add wood paneling, paint closet door brown, add tansu storage, re-arrange closet for baby, etc., add crib and baby supplies, add japanes accents (seating pad, etc.)
Master Bedroom - finish closet organizer, add casters to seating area, coffee books, and seating pad also. Add lights to headboard (oh yeah, headboard too!), creat large artwork for blank walls above and adjacent to computer desk (maybe on one wall a series of elevated hanging shelves - in birch ofcourse), paint entrance into bathroom to look like concrete
Master Bathroom - paint dark grey or keep blue color from Master Bedroom (if blue, keep ceiling white, if grey paint ceiling, eventually----replace carpet and linoleum tile or laminate, replace drawer fronts and paint (chocolate?) and add modern hardware, place frosted veneer in middle and sides of the mirror (sides are thinner), add curved plywood to conceal wiring of two modern lights above each sink,
Walk-In Closet - add halogen light, and install closet organizer......Whew, me so tired.
Went to PAMF and got a Hep B and Tetanus shot. Also got a physical, which included a cholesterol screening, and a ball grab cough. No hernia or testicular cancer!! One thing I like about my new doctor is that she is very thorough. She checked the inside of my mouth, and told me my tonsils are very large. She referred me to an ENT, because she suspects that the reason I snore like a fuckin' hippo is because my tonsils are enlarged. The ENT will also check my nasal cavity to see if my septum is deviated. She asked me if I'm fatigued quite often, and I concurred. So I'm not lazy because I'm lazy....I'm lazy because of my friggin' tonsils!!! Nah, I'm just friggin' lazy.
Ate at this place called Sushiya in Fremont. I swear the have the smallest portions in the world. I had to look at my food with a magnifying glass to see what I was eating.
Fought with Joanne at home. Good times. Then we made up. Oh yeah.
Got an e-mail from Red about 3 Jindos in the Silicon Valley Humane Society. Korean dude owner surrendered two of his 8-month old reds. Pissed me of, so I had to write about it in sexy. Gonna try to convince Jo to foster one. Will try to return Jingy to previous owners. Gonna miss that lil' monkey.
The kids woke up muthafuckin' early this morning...and started mouthing off. GK took a dump in his diapers, a big one at that. C'mon kid, you're 12 years going on 13. You shouldn't be crapping in your pants. After that loveliness, got home, cooked breakfast, watched 100 reasons why the 90's ruled, and slept for half an hour.
Went to Eric and Cheryl's baby shower at Newton. Mostly watched the Stanford/Washington game, bullshit w/ Raymond, and play with the kids. Cheryl is huge! She's ready to pop any time now. Jo went with Arlene, Noel and Brady to Richlee to have a "talk". Drama, once more. Squash it, negros...it ain't a big deal.
I gave Jo's parents a ride home. I swear, Jo's mom has ADD or something. You tell her one thing and she'll think you said something else or go to another topic altogether, or just harp on her opinion about it. It started to irritate me on the way home. But I was fine when we got to their house. Got directions to water plants, a bunch of food, and went on my merry way.
Chilled at home until having to go to work. Watched reruns of Chappelle's Show. Other than Charlie Murphy's skits and the musical guests, this season has been a disappointment. Oh well, there's always Saturday Night Live tonight. Ben Affleck is on. No doubt they'll do a skit about the evil empire and his beloved Red Sox.
Checked in with staff about how the kids did today. They were major shits...constantly arguing setting up, junior-staffing, whining, and getting consequences. I wonder if these kids will ever adjust from the Seneca world or just stay social misfits the rest of their lives. I'm glad that I'm not regular day staff, because I would have already shot myself in the stomach twice by now. I only have to deal with it in the morning time, and when they act up at night. These cats go through 11 and 15 hour shifts. No wonder most of them drink...just kidding.
Worked on landscaping today....trimmed the tree in the front yard, mowed the lawn, and trimmed the sidegrass. Can't wait to put in the walkway, put up the security lights, the wisteria, the front screen door, concrete fountain, and extra solar lights. Should have it up by the beginning of summer.
Went to Babies R Us for Cheryl and Eric's baby shower gify. We got them a jumper thingy. Then read mags and listened to trance/chillout music at Borders. Ate at stanky ass Roses Cafe because Jo wanted to, but I was surprised; it was actually good.
Visited John, Verna, and Reese. Poor Reese has allergies that is making her eyes all puffed up and red. Inducing eczema, too. But her spirits were high as she did the hokey pokey.....is that what it's all about?
Slept like a mutha from 5 to 9:30pm...fell asleep to Stanford vs.Oregon. Can't really get into the conference tourneys like the Pac-10. The good teams are in the big tourney anyways, and the crap teams usually get knocked out. Cal sucks major dick. They can't even make the NIT.
Continued training with Jingo; he is accepting leash correction and pulling from the owner better. I'm still afraid that he may revert and bite out of fear. He is able to show submissiveness, but is still aloof and fearful in certain situations. I will be contacting his former owners to see if they want him back.
Just saw that there are 3 more jindos in the Santa Clara Shelter....gotta get Jingo out quick if I want to foster any of these dogs; only 8 month, 8 months, and 14 months. I hope Jo will let me....
3/11 was a nice; I had a good day today, just hanging out with Jo, and doing stuff around the house. Made a really good dish tonight; tri-tip beef salad; it had baby romaine lettuce and garlic and parmesan dressing. Continued to put up the closet organizer in the master bedroom. I have to start on the organizer in the walk-in closet. Gave all the dogs a much-needed bath. Plans for tomorrow: continue organizing garage, paperwork, and preparing for garage sale. Also, start putting up closet organizer in walk-in closet, vacuum, scrub, and clean stairs. Watch Starsky and Hutch, get Cheryl's baby shower gift @ Babies R Us, chill at borders, go to Best Buy, and hike with the dogs in the morning. Bring project organizer and Bearden calendar to work.
