Filed an extension for our taxes. I thought it would be cut and dry like previous years, but when preparing them through good ole' trusty Turbo Tax, I realized I could deduct a bunch of our medical expenses, of which we had a lot in 03. Cleaned the carpet downstairs; it was getting pretty filthy. I love my hoover. Played ball with the dogs. Alvin came over and we played soccer w/ Belly. He was amazed by her agility. Ron, Jo, Alvin, and I went to Coldstone afterwards. This was all on Wednseday and Thursday. Also took Gilbey and Belle to the vet to do all of Belle's vaccinations and rabies, and microchip her. Finished Gilbey's deworming. Deworming costs a pretty penny. Probably not gonna do it again, unless it's necessary.

Today, watched the Punisher with Ron, while Jo watched Prince and me. Also went to court this past week and saw Dr. Perez-Arce get grilled by DDA Mifsud. Good shit.

It's been a while, so I can't remember everything since the last post, but I'll try my best. Went to Jiselle's b-day party in Sac two weekends ago. Lots of people went, too. Norbert, Jay, Lieanne, Hugo, Betty, Jess and Nidaul, Myra and Meryl, Norm, Paul, Janette, Ryan, and PJ, and Jo and me. They had a bouncer outside, so of course, I had to go in there and practice wrestling moves on Ryan. Had to work oth days, too. Luckily I left early both days.

The next day, Jo, me and Ron went to LA. We hung out with John, Verna, and Reese looking for stars, at houses, and the beautiful view on Mulholland Dr. We went to Dolce, Chi, and The Ivy (a bunch of nice restuarants), saw Thandie Newton, and Anthony Keidis, hung out at Universal Studios, and saw a Kanye West/Dub C/Dilated Peoples/Alkoholiks concert at the House of Blues. It was a fun trip. Also shopped on Rodeo, the furniture design block, and Melrose. Damn, LA has a bunch of traffic.

Had two interviews and got offered the position for one. BGCP liked me, so I may take the job although it is only 25 hours/week. Waiting on CSL which pays more and offers more career opportunties. Gotta get some money into the house.

Went to court a couple of times to support Jenn's Dad. Saw a bunch of testimonies, from the crime scene technicians, the murderer's boss, the dumbass doctor that examined her during an alleged spousal abuse, and the murderer, herself. I hope the jury is already decided to charge her with the full count of first degree (or at least 2nd degree) murder. A good sign to me was when a juror took out a newspaper once the judge and the lawyers decided to sidebar, as if to indicate that in his mind, he no longer needs to hear any more testimony or see anymore evidence. The bitch stabbed him 48 times. Murder, motherfucker. Premeditated, at that. I pray that Jenn's dad and family find some semlance of peace from this horrific act.

Gonna finally do my taxes, organize paperwork, and work on the garage. Oil change for the truck, new tires for the camry, and a couple of IVF phone consultations on Wednesday. Pending adoption for Jingo (with Jo's bro or Ron's sis who already have one of our beloved fosters, Jude). Vet appointment for Belle and follow up for Gilbs on Wednesday. Final interview with CSL on Tuesday. More court sit-ins all week.
