Thursday was fun.  Jo had her acupuncture appointment in the morning so I went to Peet's on fourth st. and started reading this book, "The Gangster in all of Us".  It's a very nicely crafted book with creative visual imagery about a vietnamese immigrant nad his family growing up in LA.  So far so good.  Bought a print of the Japanese Tsunami on Japanese paper for 25 bucks.  Pretty pricey but worth it.  Jo and I went to Bua Long and ate our favorite dishes.  Albany is such a nice city.  I wonder if I would have enjoyed the Rec Supervisor job if I had taken it in October.  Then again, I wouldn't have been able to support Jo in her surgery and recovery if I had.  Life is funny that way.  Jo and I had wheatgrass shots at a juice place on Shattuck.  Then, we went to California Cinema to finally watch Fahrenheit 9/11.  Very touching and entertaining.  Definitely biased and democratic, liberal propaganda and rhetoric, yet the facts point towards something very disturbing still.  Returned home ready to clean like hell, but ended up sleeping and watching BB5.  Put up the Total Gym and got irritated at Jo.  She's been really on edge lately.

Walked the dogs from 10-11:30pm and then I got a call from Wayne.  Apparently I was supposed to work at Sage.  I should have checked my schedule with Cicely, but I thought I would be off since I worked 5 days already.  Would have been feasible to check.  Went to Crane and worked with Marlon.  I would have worked with Suejy at Sage, which is sometimes difficult because she doesn't usually split it.  Still a nice girl to talk to, though.  Enjoyed working with Marlon.  He told me about Ben's termination, and stories about little ole' Lee.  And Little Lee.  And his infatuation with arms, especially elbows.  Despite being the most assaultive, mentally challenged kid in the program for the past two to three years, it's funny how endearing he was to many staff members.  Transported JP at Crane this morning to Day TX.  That kid is a ball of pure white hot energy.  His MO is to get timeouts and sits in the morning so that the MHA's and overnights don't have to deal with his silliness.  Poor kid.  He's used to it too.  Once I got him in the car, he was able to focus himslef and we had a fun ride to Day TX.  First we saw a house with a huge frontyard get TP'd.  Ofcourse I had to explain this concept to JP without glamorizing the perpetrators.  It was hard, though, because it looked like they did a good job.  Ah, those were the days.  Then we were at the intersection of 7 hills and Lake Chabot, and a gaggle of Canadian Geese were leisurely crossing the street.  Took a picture of it, too.

Went directly home, so that Jo and I could go to Los Gatos for her appt. w/ Dr. Cook.  He took an ultrasound of her and found a cyst on her left ovary.  It doesn't appear to be an endometrioma, but he's been wrong before.  It's pretty big at 14 mm.  Hopefully it's an acutal egg sac, which means her ovary ovulated and produced an egg!  More good news is that there is no endometrioma or cyst even on her right ovary.  She had been getting a lot fo pain on that side, but Dr. Cook said it was probably scar tissue and adhesions from the surgery in December and/or the egg retrieval in June.  Good times.

Jo went to get groceries at Whole Foods in Campbell while I slept in the car.  Luckily we didn't run into you-know-who.  It was nice to see their progeny on Noel's b-day.  The kid is well- mannered and so darn cute.  Hadn't seen him in a while because of the baggage that he carries.

Finally, had our Seneca annual dinner at Hs Lordhips in Berks tonight.  Saw a bunch of peeps and introduced Jo to them.  God, Jo was looking delicious tonight.  She had on this beautiful see through black dress-pant hybrid that made her look like Audrey Hepburn.  Didn't get a chance to dance, becaue I had to go into work, but at least we spent some quality time alone, watching the sunset, and whispering sweet nothings to each other.  Saw Kevin and Carmen form CBS.  Hadn't seen them in a long time.  Also saw the punk overnight chicks.  They irk me the wrong way so much.   They remind so much of Marvin from BB5, slimy and manipulative, petty and judgemental.  Didn't give them the chance to get me irritated, so I only ent up to positive folk like Travis, Amy (who was on beeper and told me to go to work!), Sandra, Tara, Rashida, Big Kev, Carmen, Moses, Al, etc.  Good times all around.
